Curriculum:

José María Vilas is one of the main experts in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry in Spain, due to his experience of more than three decades in the industry. Recently designated President of Deoleo, the world leader in sales of bottled olive oil; Vilas has previously been president of Unilever Spain, Panrico, and member of the Board in AECOC for several years.

He has also been a member of the Steering Board of ECOEMBES, FIAB (Food & Beverage Manufacturers Association) and Promarca. Moreover, Mr. Vilas has been Co-Chairman of ECR Spain, member of the Board Alimentum Foundation and Foundation for Triptolemos Company; and also Vice-President of the Hispanic – Dutch Foundation. PhD in Economics from the University of Barcelona, has an MBA from IESE and completed several postgraduate courses: IMD Lausanne, INSEAD Fontainebleau and Institute San Telmo in Seville.

Curriculum:

Eva Vila is the General Manager of IRI in Spain, with more than 15 years of professional experience in different multinational companies in several countries. She began her career in the U.S. working in the financial sector in Whale Securities and Refco Inc as an analyst and broker. Later, in Germany she joined the Marketing area at Coca-Cola, where she worked for four years in the research area. She comes back to Spain in 1999 to join the newly created IRI. She led the Marketing Department in Spain IRI since its inception in 2002.

Eva Vila was also responsible in local area marketing, public relations and communication. As well she had European responsibilities in the area of product development. In 2007 she was promoted to Director of Marketing Southern Europe and in June of the same year to Director of European Marketing. In January 2010 she was promoted to CEO of the company. Eva Vila has a degree in Economics and Business Administration at the University of Barcelona and a BA at DePauw University Indiana, USA. She is also a regular contributor of Marketing in several Spanish Universities and regularly leads seminars and studies for the Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry and academic centers of business
